The personal data thieves in Internet or commonly called as the Phisher has started to lurk Facebook users. Therefore, the facebook users must be extra careful to this cyber crime on Facebook. You should not mention all of your personal details on facebook. Besides that, you must be alert in receiving e-mails from people you do not know. It is because these phishers sometimes claim themselves to be Facebook representatives and will accuse you for some violations.Later this cyber crime on facebook will continue to the stage where you will be required to click the provided link. Without realizing it, this link is a deadly trap for you. Various applications available in Facebook are also not completely secured. Graham Cluley, a Senior Technology Consultant in Sophos, said that the source of this cyber crime on Facebook is likely that Facebook allows almost everyone to make applications on its site.
Unfortunately, all applications made by the third parties are not checked and evaluated first. They will be directly presented to the users. To be more ironic, even though one application has been eliminated, there will many other “bad” applications that will cost great disadvantages for the users.
For example, an application named as “My Account” and “Reported For Rule Breaking” have been reported to be quite disturbing in this site created by Mark Zuckenberg.
