Google Buys Cell Phone Ads Provider!

google cell phone adsGoogle seems want to prove its existence in the cell phone market. This issue is confirmed by the acquisition plan of AdMob, a company that runs cell phone ads.

As quoted from AFP, Tuesday (10/11/2009), this Internet Giant provides a budget as much as US$ 750 million to smooth the acquisition plan.

With this acquisition, Google expects that AdMob can help this Internet Giant to broaden the internet mobile ads market.

“Mobile Advertising has a tremendous potential as a marketing media and this industry is still in the development process. However, AdMob has made a significant achievement in such a short period of time,” said Google Vice President of Management product, Susan Wojcicki.

AdMod itself was founded by Omar Hamoui in California in 2006. The company targets the potential mobile users through Internet advertisings.

“Our mission in AdMob is to enable the developers and publishers to bring out their products and idea into mobile devices using the same business model,” he said.
