Julia Roberts in BaliJulia Roberts comes to Bali for new movie with her co-star Brad Pitt. They are heading to Indonesia for the shooting of the movie “Eat, Pray and Love.” Julia has been taking some scenes for her newest movie in some places in Bali.
This is very good to promote Bali in particular and Indonesia in general. Julia Robert’s movie is inspired from a best-selling novel with the same title “Eat, Pray and Love”.
The shooting location is done in Banjar Bentuyung, located around 2 km away from Ubud, Gianyar, since Thursday (15/10/2009).
A high level security is already done within 500 meters from the main shooting location, which is also a villa where Julia stays during her shooting in Bali.
The Columbia Pictures bring their own private guards and they are assisted by 135 policemen from Gianyar Police Department. Besides to secure the movie stars, the security is also intended for the crews and tens of trucks and cars loading the properties of Columbia Pictures.
“ It is all intended to make everything goes smoothly,” said the Chief of Gianyar Police Department, AKBP Nengah Astawa.
“Hopefully, everything runs smoothly,” said Claire Raskind from the Publicity Department of Columbia Pictures.
Besides Julia, there are some other Academy award winner artists in this movie, such as James Franco, Richard Jenkins,Billy Crudup, Viola Davis and Javier Bardem.
