Jules Undersea Lodge
There are Top 5 underwater hotels, and the world’s first underwater hotel is known as the Jules Undersea Lodge, named after the famous author of Maritime Tale 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. It was built in the early 70’s with the original purpose as a groundbreaking research lab in the Puerto Rico offshore. It was then relocated into Key Largo, Florida, and taken into business as the underwater hotel in 1986. Many celebrities have been spotted in Jules’s Undersea Lodge, such as Steve Tyler (Aerosmith), John Fishman Phish, and even Pierre Trudeau, the former Canadian Prime Minister.Read more
