windows 7 and vistaMicrosot Windows 7 comes with many expectations, not only from Microsoft as the manufacturer, but also from the end users who use it for daily needs.

These expectations are something normal seeing that the performance of previous OS Microsoft – Windows Vista- is not too satisfying or can even be considered as failed.

Soon after Windows Vista was launched into the market, some complaints have been directed to Vista, starting from a heavy specification, not photo digital friendly up to not satisfying reviews from businessmen.
Be informed that least computer specifications needed to run Vista are a must have 1 GHz processor, 1 GB memory and 40 GB hard disk. These specifications are needed by the end users to do their business routines, such as processing documents, running spreadsheet or sending e-mails.

On the contrary, specifications needed by Windows XP, the Vista predecessor, is less, in which the operational system can still be run with 300 MHz processor, 128 MB memory and 1.5 GB hard disk.

The specifications in Vista are regarded to be too high that the businessmen do not see a reasonable reason to switch into Vista. Further, a system that is already available at the moment is capable to provide and support their daily tasks.

Besides from the features, another disappointment is also received from the PC sellers who consider that this OS is not able to increase the PC purchases.

This statement is confirmed by the research result of an analytical institution, Gartner, who said that the appearance of Vista only gives a little contribution to the computer selling figure in 2007.

Seeing this issue, no wonder that Windows 7 is regarded to have a heavier burden to restore users’ trust as well as to pay of the “failure” of Vista.

The CEO of Microsoft, Steve Ballmer, promised the end users and developers that Windows 7 is the best OS compared to other Windows operational system.

“Windows 7 is the best operational system that we ever made,” claimed Ballmer in a letter released by Microsoft as quoted by HeartListen.com from InformationWeek.
