“Seeing the age of the mother and the condition of a perfectly normal baby, this case is extraordinary in a science world and is a very pleasant news,” said Matthias Beckmann from the Clinic University in Erlangen, South Germany.
As released by the clinic, there were only 25 reported cases of pregnancy under death brain or coma circumstances since 1970s and all of these cases ended up with miscarried or abnormal born babies. Unfortunately, the doctors said that the mother might not be able to survive as she suffers a tremendous brain damage and heart after having a fatal heart-attack that made her in a coma condition. The baby boy is now 18 months old and is under custody, after his father decided that he could not raise the baby by himself because his job required him to travel a lot.
